Welcome to the world of socialized medicine:
"Imagine if you sought PRIVATE treatment for your child, because you simply disagreed with the treatment he was receiving from the National Health Service - and that decision was one that you knew would make you some sort of fugitive, simply because you wanted what was best for your child.
This is precisely what happened to parents of five year old Ashya King, who was denied lifesaving proton laser therapy by the National Health Service, and because of that, the parents chose to take their son to the Czech Republic so that they could treat him privately. Apparently, big government healthcare doesn't like that, so that resulted in a freaking MANHUNT for his parents, as they charged Ashya's Mom and Dad with KIDNAPPING.
Yeah - kidnapping their child, because they wanted to save his life. Welcome to Bizarro World, folks.
Now, the parents are in custody in Spain, and they can't even see their boy at all, and oh yeah - the kid is SICK. Kids need their Mommies and Daddies....sick kids REALLY need their Mommies and Daddies.
The boy...."is believed to be on his own in a hospital in the Costa Del Sol. His brother told the Metro that the Police had been guilty of child cruelty for breaking up the family and leaving Ashya on his own.
His grandmother Patricia was equally critical, saying: "Putting him in a hospital where he doesn't know anybody is cruel... I have never heard of anything so cruel in all my life." Authorities are accused of holding Ashya like a virtual prisoner, unable to see family and friends during what might be the last few weeks of his life."
From its inception in February 2009, the Tea Party movement has focused on three core values:
- Constitutionally Limited Government
- Fiscally Responsible Government
- Free Market Principles
These core values emerged quickly during the dramatic two month period in early 2009 when the movement first exploded on the scene. As if from nowhere, Rick Santelli’s rant on February 19, 2009 started an unlikely chain of events that brought one million Americans – many first time activists – to nine hundred “Tax Day Tea Parties” around the country on April 15, 2009.
Tea Party Activists, whether they govern their private lives by faith in God or by a secular morality, are all united in their concern about the loss of individual rights stemming from our corrupted Constitution and our corrupt system of representation. They are dedicated to restoring the purity of our original constitutional system in order to pass on the republic intact to the next generation of Americans.
